Origins
Growing up in Italy, Jagtar Singh developed a passion for the stone industry at an early age. He began his career at Margraf, one of Italy's largest natural stone companies, working hands-on with the tools and equipment he'd later supply to fabricators across Canada.
Building Expertise
Working alongside industry professionals, Jagtar built deep knowledge of stone processing, fabrication techniques, and the latest technologies, testing every product himself to learn what truly performs in real-world environments.
2018
Jagtar moved to Canada with a vision of bringing the same quality, innovation, and technical expertise found in Europe to the Canadian stone industry, later becoming Director of Sales & Operations at a leading stone tooling supplier.
A Shared Vision
Jagtar met Gitika Saluja while she worked part-time in field marketing and pursued her degree in Accounting. Recognizing her professionalism and work ethic, he invited her to join as Assistant Accountant, where she became central to the business.
2025
Their shared belief that fabricators deserved more than just another supplier gave birth to Marmotech Inc., a trusted partner combining practical industry knowledge, premium European products, and genuine customer commitment.

Marmotech proudly sources products from some of the world's most respected manufacturers, particularly Italy, carefully selecting every product to help fabricators work more efficiently and grow their businesses with confidence.
